SPAIN WILL OPEN BORDERS TO FOREIGN TOURISTS IN JULY IN PHASING OUT OF CORONAVIRUS RESTRICTIONS

Spanish Government pointed to the fact that by Monday, the entire country will be in Phase 1 or Phase 2 of the government’s de-escalation plan, with the last parts of the country – such as the Madrid region and Barcelona city – finally leaving the first stage, Phase 0.

Internal movement will be gradually permitted with certain conditions from June, depending on the performance of the health indicators of different regions.

Spanish Authorities are loosening the restrictions for national movement from June and they said that from July, foreign tourism would return to Spain ‘in safe conditions, so we expect an entrance protocol to be set in place to ensure some system of health control at the Airport.

Authorizations are still necessary today before confirming the flight and documentation must be provided.

Note that in all GAS Network, all Local health protocols are followed and we also comply with all ISBAH standards to ensure the safest operation for STAFF, CREWS and PASSENGERS.

We see this news as a positive move ensuring a safe operation during this Summer season in Spain for all your customers.

We hope to see you soon again.

Take care and thank you.
